Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026. Plain-language version. Have a lawyer review it for the countries you serve before a big public launch.
Amcolink is a marketplace where buyers find local sellers and contact them directly. This page explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. It applies to our website and our mobile apps.
1. What we collect

2. What we do not collect
We do not take payments, so we never collect card, bank or mobile-money details. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
3. Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the service: Supabase (database, login and photo storage), Render (hosting), Cloudflare (security and bot protection), an email provider (account emails) and Anthropic (the optional AI listing helper). They only process data to provide their service to us. Photos are stored in public storage, so anyone with a photo’s link can view it. When you tap WhatsApp, Call or Telegram, that app’s own privacy policy applies.
4. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is open. Notifications are deleted after 90 days. Usage counts are kept as totals. When you delete your account, your data is removed straight away, except copies in encrypted backups, which expire within about 7 days, and records we must keep by law.
5. Your choices and rights
- Edit or remove your shop, listings, reviews and Wanted requests at any time.
- Delete your account yourself: My account → Delete account. This removes your account, shops, listings, photos, saved items, reviews and requests.
- Block any shop so you no longer see it, and report anything unsafe.
- Ask for a copy of your data or a correction by contacting [email protected].
6. Children
Amcolink is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will remove it.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Database rules make sure people can only change their own shops and listings, and administrators must use two-step login. No system is perfect, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies only: one to keep you signed in, and one random anonymous ID so our “Trending” lists count each person once (it contains nothing about you and is never shared or used for ads). We also store small settings on your device, for example which alerts you have seen.
