What “Verified seller” means

When you see the blue Verified seller badge on a shop or listing, our team has checked that the shop is run by a real, reachable person. Every listing from a verified shop shows the badge.

Identity checkedThe owner showed us a valid ID, and a business licence if they have one.
Phone number confirmedWe called or messaged the shop’s WhatsApp number and spoke to the owner.
Real shop or sellerWe checked the shop exists, for example its location, photos or a short video call.
Kept up to dateIf a verified shop changes its name or phone number, the badge is removed until we check again.

Verified doesn’t replace common sense. Even with verified sellers, meet in a public place, check the item before paying, and never send money in advance. If something feels wrong, report the shop. We can remove the badge at any time.

Sellers: how to get verified

1. Open your shop in My shop and make sure your name, city and WhatsApp number are correct.
2. Tap “Request verification”.
3. We’ll contact you on WhatsApp, usually within a few days. Have your ID (and business licence, if you have one) ready.
4. Once checked, your shop and all your listings get the Verified seller badge. It’s free.
